Well, summer is gone and school has begun,
and time just keeps plugging along.
Quite a bit has happened since the last post,
get ready to see tons of pictures....
again.
Kale does this adorable thing where he lays on top of the couch (as pictured above and to the right) and says, "I go to sleep."
It would be so much cooler if he actually did go to sleep.
Two words: A-Dorable. |
As many of you know, Kale has become
quite the little phone talker.
Sometimes I know he's calling someone, but there have been plenty of times where I had no idea. Luckily there haven't been any accidental 911 calls. Oh no, I just jinxed it!
He's a regular James Dean.
On Labor Day our friends invited us to go on a
family friendly hike.
This was Kale's first ever hike!
I love the picture above,
Kale looks so terrified.
The hike ended at this little waterfall area
which was pretty cool.
And Tyler scaled the cliff
to reach the top of the falls,
like a boss.
Look at all those cute kids!
They did a great job on the hike
and we had a blast.
Onto a visit from Nana and Grandpa!
They were only able to visit for a few days, but it happened to be on my birthday so it was just perfect!!
Kale loves his Grandpa Gerber so much,
it's so cute you could cry.
You know you want to,
just do it,
no one is watching.
So while they were visiting we thought
it would be fun to go
to the Seattle Aquarium.
It was a good thought.
Kale was a little psycho and
there were no sharks!!!
But we made some great memories regardless :)
That was really fun helping Kale touch the starfish.
He would giggle and giggle and say,
"Ewww!"
Silly mother/son times.
It was rainy when we got to Seattle but we had to take a picture out by the water. This picture doesn't quite do it justice.
Like my diaper bag? I know, I'm super fashionable.
Um, the camera is over here.
Just kidding, this was totally my fault. I was more concerned about my beloved camera getting wet than taking a good picture.
HONK HONK!
See, I told you he loves his Grandpa Gerber.
Look at Tyler go! Making sure that kid is alright, and he's even on the opposing team. I think he got clocked pretty good. That's my man!
Had to get a group picture before we went home.
Finally got one of Nana :)
While we were in Yakima shopping,
Nana and Grandpa got Kale his birthday present....
a bike and a helmet!!!
Good thing we have these concrete
floors, right??
My good friend Kristen recently got married! But before that happened there had to be a Bachelorette party right? Right! We had a blast and I'm just really glad to have met this girl, she is one of a kind!
