Hey ya'll!
What a great Christmas we had!!
It was so wonderful to
be in Iowa for
Christmas and to be able
to spend so much time
with my family and friends.
We had a wonderful time
and found out that
Kale is a champion plane traveller.
Before I post pictures, though,
I would like to explain that
the reason there aren't
any pictures of
Christmas Day is that
I didn't get our
new camera until after Christmas.
:-/ Sorry!
But, here we go!
Kale now loves to play with the cookie sheets.
He thinks he's pretty hilarious.
Kale loves his Nana Gerber,
and also loved trying
to mess up our card games :)
My two BFFs took me out
and pampered me.
Just like old times :)
They'll probably hate me for posting the above picture,
but I know they'll get over it
Love you girls!!
We went to Nauvoo while we were out there.
It was so great! But insanely cold.
Kale loved
looking at the
Nativity scene at the
Visitor's Center.
Or maybe he
just was fascinated
by the straw...
And of course,
it was difficult to keep him
from taking all the
ornaments off the tree.
Alison swung by and played
some Kinect golf with
us.
Man I miss this girl!
Kale loves his Uncle Dain!
All right people, it's time to
go sledding.
Kale's first time!
Getting all his gear on was
a team effort.
Ready, set, GO!
I can't help but laugh seeing this picture.
He was just like Randy
from A Christmas Story.
Hilarious.
Watch out Dain!!
And again,
just lying their like a slug.
It was his only defense.
Here are some pictures of what the pass
looked like on our drive home:
And now some silly pictures.
I took Kale outside but he
wouldn't keep his gloves
on and kept falling on the cold
ice, so we went inside.
This is Kale's friend Bauston.
Despite Kale's facial expression,
they really are buds.
Speaking of Kale's facial expressions,
here's a new one he
picked up in Iowa
that seems to be a real crowd pleaser:
And that's it.
It was a great Christmas.
We are so grateful
we had the chance to be with family!
